This work began as a mixed media painting and evolved through a process of layering, distortion, and repetition. The original piece was scanned, re-scanned, painted over, and scanned again — each stage eroding and reinterpreting the last. The result is a set of three prints, each capturing a different moment in the image’s transformation.
